How do you carry your stress? Not something you have really thought about lately? Stress can and has become such a part of our identity that is can change you physically. CHANGE.... that's a big word. Think about how a series of thoughts you allow to flow thru your mind ( rent your headspace for free if you will) can actually change your body...your appearance! Most of us have heard or read how stress has been proven to medically effect how our bodies function. From shortness of breath, rapid heart rate or after repeated chronic stress; heart disease. What we may not be as aware of our how stress is reflected outwardly- literally carried around by us through postures and body language. These outward manifestations of our emotions can start to, over time, cause other parts of our bodies of compensate and sometimes malign causing a constant cycle of toxicity with in us. Take a moment to sit or stand comfortably and relaxed. Just BE STILL AND BREATHE. Pick a focal point on the wall or close your eyes. Now, as you breathe, start to notice where your body is softening. You thought you were relaxed, right! Does your jaw drop a little? Are your brows going down? How are your shoulders- falling down and back? Is your chest opening with each breath? Are your back and core rolling in from being pushed out? Feel your legs softening around your knees. Where is your weight in your feet? It starts to move evenly through your arch into the ball and toes, Each breath allows you to listen a little closer to what your body is telling you it needs. A few more breaths and you open your eyes or move your gaze and you have just reset your body, mind and energy!

Sometimes stopping top be present and present to see what you are carrying and where you are carrying it can really lighten your load.
